Locked to Rabastian
Narcissa sat in the Great Hall sipping a cup of hot chocolate. Most students had departed after lunch, but she lingered, not really wanting to get to the homework that awaited her back in her room. Hearing footsteps behind her, she dismissed the noise until they stopped behind her. She turned around to see... Current Mood: blah

Ted strolled into the library with moderately bloodshot eyes and a curiously dry throat. He was characteristically laidback, however, and he smiled broadly at anyone and everyone who walked past- particularly Rita Skeeter. His head snapped around to follower her with his gaze as she walked out the door. Rita had glasses and those were hot. He smirked to himself, wondering if she was a good shag. He had seen this one porn video over the summer- he was a muggleborn- and there was this naughty librarian who reminded him of Rita and- BAM!
He'd walked straight into a bookshelf. Oww. Ted heard a burst of laughter and whirled around to see where it was coming from. Current Mood: sore
Let James respond first. Then, everyone else jump in!
She timed the attack carefully, around his daily fly. After steathily sneaking into his dormitory and retrieving his invisibility cloak, Lily tossed it around herself and made her way to the locker rooms. Yep- bingo. As planned, James was in there alone, soaping himself and singing 'I Will Survive.' She wished she had a muggle recording device. The moment was priceless. Lily yanked a mesh laundry back and carefully began moving throughout the room, stealing every single, solitary towel in sight. She also yanked James' wand and evey last stitch of clothing he had with him, not even leaving him his pants- a priviledge he'd bestowed upon her. She quietly closed the door behind her as she heard the water shut off and Lily quietly surpressed a snicker before tightening the invisibility cloak around her and bolting towards the Gryffindor dorms. This, of course, meant war.

Locked to Bellatrix
After getting a tray of tea from the kitchen, Narcissa headed back to the girls' dormitory to find her sister. When she got to the door of her sister's room, she carefully balanced the tray while she knocked on the door.
She was anxious to talk with her sister about Rabastian. The short talk with Raven had made her want to talk more about things, and she felt that her sister would be better to talk to. Current Mood: ditzy

locked to Narcissa
In the dead of night, Raven was sitting underneath a tree by the forbidden forest. She often came here to be alone....and the noises from the forest always helped to calm her down so she could study. The gods know she cant get any piece in the slytherin common room where everyone is always running around like stupid gits. But she would soon be out of Hogwarts....the thought of leaving brought a smile to her face.
She lit a candle and got her potions book out of her bag. She usually didn't have any problems making anything in the class, but she just wanted to make sure that she had everything correctly. Feeling a chill, she pulled her new cloak she got for christmas up over her head a little. Then, Frowning, she pulled out her notebook and set to work. Current Mood: cold

Now that he'd finished with Macnair's potion, Severus left the Potions classroom where he'd been holed up for more of the day, and returned to the Slytherin common room. He was caught up on his studies, so he retrieved a book he'd been reading from his room and curled up on the sofa by the fire.
He rested the well-worn cover of The Journey to the East
on his knee and started to read, paying little attention to the comings and goings of his housemates. Current Mood: calm

He had a scroll open on his lap, gaping blank page staring up at him. In the library, Peter sat with knees curled in on a plush blue sofa in one of the secluded little study rooms. Unable to bear the expanse of homework ahead of him, he turned his attention to the rich color beneath his hands and the feel of the fabric there. Such a strong blue, it reminded him of Ravenclaw, and he mused what it would be like to be so brilliant.
As he smoothed his hand over the velvety surface, the light shifted behind him, the low slung sun dipping behind a cloud. When he turned his head this way, the color turned a deep green. His forefinger arched, nail digging into the fibers, and sketched out a swirling 'S'. As the sun reappeared, the unintentional marking twitched and tugged a gasp from Peter, who dropped his quill into his lap, spilling the small ink bottle. The blackness seeped over the 'S' and drowned whatever had been there.
When Peter finally tore his eyes away from it, someone was in the room and he cried out before realizing that it was just another student, and felt the familiar heat of embarassment coating his skin. Current Mood: scared
Narcissa had just got back from being at home for the holidays. After unpacking, she decided to go down and get some hot coca and then sit by the fire in the common room to look over some work.
As she made her way down the halls she heard the sound of someone following her. Wondering if whoever it was behind her was truely following her, she kept walking just to make sure. When the footsteps had kept up, she stopped outside of the portrait leading to the kitchen and turned around. "Is there a reason that you're following me?" she smirked. Current Mood: bored

Remus was in the library, studying. He was supposed to be patrolling the corridors in a prefectly type manner, but he had the map with him. As long as he kept it concealed, he could monitor where everyone was and still be able to catch up on Divination. Charts. Gods he hated them. If they really told him anything substantial about the future it would be worth it, but he'd yet to learn anything useful.
He was glad the library was quiet, though. Occasionally he would glance at the map to make sure no little dots had traversed any restricted areas or wandered off too far to the edge of the grounds, but he didn't really pay attention to who might be approaching his own dot. Current Mood: productive
Locked to Lucius
Severus left the secret lab and headed for Slytherin house to see Lucius. He tried to keep his mind blank. Don't think about it. Don't think about it...
When that didn't work quite so well, he tried to focus on what he'd originall meant to discuss. The meeting. Yes, he wanted to talk to Lucius about it. Perhaps he'd know more.
He was startled to find himself at Lucius' door so quickly, as if he hadn't noticed where he was walking, but ended up there anyway. He knocked lightly, summoning up a placid expression. Current Mood: confused

The Care of Magical Creatures area was unattended at certain times of the morning. Although it was within sight of the groundskeeper's hovel, he was frequently called away on some errand or another, and Bellatrix had been watching. There was no one about, of that she was certain.
She found her way into a small enclosure where the smaller creatures were kept. She found a terrarium with a number of bowtruckles relaxing inside it. She only wanted a little practice. No harm, really. Just to see how they'd react. She snatched one out carefully and put it on the floor quickly, avoiding its bite by surprising it. She drew her wand, looking at the stick-like thing dispassionately, and spoke in a bare whisper, "Crucio."
The bowtruckle shrieked and rolled on the rough plank floor, small talons grasping for purchase. Bellatrix' stared at it, then levelled the curse upon it again. And again. And again. Until it ceased to move. She squatted down and poked at it with her wand. "Fascinating," she said aloud. It was still alive, but limp and listless. She picked it up with two fingers, holding it away from herself. "Lost your wits, little twig?" she asked it. "What a terrible pity. But it I assure you it's for the greater good."
She tossed it back in the terrarium, content with her experiment. She would have to try something bigger next time. She strolled out of the enclosure, and headed back towards the castle, a slight spring in her step. Current Mood: satisfied
